The SEIC courses are an intensive program designed for adult learners who wish to achieve an advanced level of English in the shortest possible time in order to be able to communicate in English in their international workplaces or to go abroad for their higher education.

• The SEIC exercises, which are modeled on international English proficiency tests, boost students’ confidence and help them score high on the TOEIC, TOEFL iBT and IELTS tests.
• After obtaining the TOEIC certificates (Test of English for International Communication), students can move on to the Academic English courses in order to acquire the IELTS certificates, Academic Version or the TOEFL iBT certificates.

Placement Test

Upon enrollment, students will be placed in suitable classes according to their placement test results or their scores on the international English proficiency tests.

Certification

SCEIC students will be awarded

• Score reports showing their study results after completing a class level.
• Certificates issued by VUS after completing a proficiency level.
• TOEIC certificates issued by the Educational Testing Service, USA (ETS).
• IELTS certificates issued by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, the British Council and IDP Education.
• TOEFL iBT certificates issued by the Educational Testing Service, USA (ETS).
• Graduation certificates co-signed by VUS and the CUNY together with TOEFL iBT or IELTS score reports, which are internationally recognized.
